Subtitles out of sync since last update

Hello,

Since the last update this month December, i notice that subtitles are out of sync on apps like Disney+ or Prime Video. Subtitles are in sync starting a movie but after some minutes they start getting out of sync more and more... How can I solve this problem?

I apologize about the late response, thank you for being patient! Were you able to fix that issue with the subtitles? If not, I'd be happy to help out, as I know subtitles being out of sync would annoy me as well! Let me just ask you some questions about what's happening:

  • What apps does this issue affect?
  • What is the firmware version of your Chromecast?
  • Have you tried clearing out the cached data from the affected apps?
  • What troubleshooting steps have you already tried?
