Unexpected response from server

Have read all instructions from previous queries on same issue I’m having “UNEXPECTED RESPONSE FROM SERVER”   I’ve tried new account, deleting and reinstalling app, no joy….please help!!!?

A few questions: do you have a Chromecast device? If yes, what type of Chromecast device do you have? Are you setting up a Chromecast device?

I am also having trouble trying to connect to the google home app It says unexpected response from server its been a week so please help me asap, thank you

I'm sorry to hear that you're also experiencing the same issue. Can you tell me the type of Google Nest device that you have? Also, could you please rundown all the steps you've tried?

Its a chromecast, I' ve reset my ipad on chromecast but nothing works please help me.

Hi sus2,

 

Thanks for getting back to us. Please reinstall the Google Home app and reboot your mobile device and Wi-Fi router. Using a different Google Account to set up your Chromecast might also help.
