Why did I pay for that?

Can't even configure my Chromecast anymore. It can't even connect to wifi, how useless.

Product just stopped working one day for no reason. I've had it for a year and I've had the same problem many times. Had to factory reset it more than 4 times. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, it is such a piece of trash. Never seen a product having so much trouble connecting to a freaking wifi. It's worthless now. I will be trying another brand to get better result as suggested by other user. Chromecast is truly useless.

I apologize about the late response on this thread, thank you for being patient! Were you able to fix that connection issue? If not, I'd be happy to help out, as I can understand connection issues are frustrating. Go ahead and give these steps a try, and let me know if they help:

  • Check the LED light on the Chromecast to see if the Chromecast is trying to tell you something.
  • If the LED light looks correct, check out the steps listed in this article.
  • If you're still having issues, please follow the steps listed in this article.
