screen mirroring connection lost

every time i try to do screen mirroring i got this message " connection lost"

Quick questions: what type of Chromecast device do you have? What's the make and model of your phone and its OS version?

 

Give these steps a try:

 

  1. Make sure the mobile phone or tablet is on the same Wi-Fi network as the Chromecast device.
  2. Turn off power saving mode in your mobile device.
  3. Turn on the Microphone permission in the Google Play Services app.
