There’s a pop-up that appears on my tv screen displaying a ‘pairing key’ that is impossible to get rid of. It used to only appear every 30 minutes or so, but now is constantly onscreen and it won’t go away. Nobody in my house is trying to pair with the tv. If anyone knows how to get rid of this, I’d really appreciate it. It’s not preventing me from using it, but it’s really annoying.

To remove the constant “pairing key” pop-up from your TV:
Go to Settings on your TV.
Navigate to Network > Screen Mirroring or Device Connection (depending on your TV brand).
Look for “Prompt” or “Pairing Mode” and set it to “Off” or “Always Off.”
Restart the TV.
This should stop the pairing request from showing. If not, try disabling Bluetooth or Wi-Fi Direct temporarily.

Hi
This is fine if you are near the tv in question. The problem is if you are using google tv say for example via your phone lets say on lunch break and you do not have access to the tv that your phone is picking up?
