Device connections

I have smart plugs & an irobot that are showing offline on my account, but not on my wifes. When I originally connected them they worked fine with assistant. When I added them to my wifes account, mine went offline. All are using same wifi.

I have the same issue. After deleting a home member all my Tuya devices went offline.

Hi folks,

Thanks for posting and sorry for the late response. A few things: what is the make and model of the mobile phone that you are using? Could you provide the Google Home app version installed? You can uninstall and reinstall the Google Home app and see if it will make a difference.

Keep me posted.

Thanks,

Juni

Hello again,

Thanks for the reply. Are you still able to control your devices even though it’s showing as offline on your Google Home app? How about voice commands? Are they responding? What Google Nest devices do you have?

Check out this guide: Share a home and devices in the Google Home app

From there you can manage devices and home members and see the settings when sharing control to a home member.

Tell me how it goes.

Best regards,

Dan

Hi there,

Thanks for the response. You can do a full reset and set up your Nest speakers and displays as new device. Before you reset your Nest Hub Max please check the steps below.

  1. Save important footage from the device’s video history if you have Nest aware..
  2. Make sure the device is plugged into a power source that’s tested and functional.
  3. Remove the device from the Google Home app.
  4. Open the Google Home app .
  5. Tap and hold the device's tile.
  6. Tap Settings and then  Remove device and then Remove.

Keep me posted.

Thanks,

Juni
