Google Home says device not available even though they are linked and assigned to home and room

Hey Melissa97,

 

Thanks for reaching out — let's see what's going on.

 

A few questions: when did it start happening? What Google Nest device do you have? Also, were there any recent changes to your network or set up? 

 

Give these steps a try:

 

  • Uninstall and reinstall your Google Home app.
  • Reboot your phone, router and speaker to refresh the connection.
  • Try resetting your speaker.
