Issues with my Google Chrome casth

Hi Guys,

I am having trouble getting my other devices to see my chrome cast.

The set up went fine as I  got to the point where it is connected to my WiFi.  However, it appears that when I go to mirror my screen to my TV, it won't do it.

I checked that my AP isolation is disabled and my UPNP is enabled.

Anybody else experienced this???

Hi Juni,

Thanks for the reply.  I was able to figure it out.   I found out my VPN was isolating my device.  So I turned it off and boom immediately I am now able to connect.

Hi Brojam11,

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community.

A few things: What's the make and model of the device you are using to cast? What's the distance between the router and the Chromecast device? Note: Recommended distance is 15 to 20 feet (4 to 6 meters).

You can try to reboot your router, Chromcast and your casting device to refresh. If that did not work, reset your Chromecast.

Keep me posted.

Best,

Juni
