The Nest worked just fine on my old phone. Unfortunately the old phone died. I am trying to re-install the nest on my new phone and when it asked me to login it keeps asking me to go to the old phone to verify. What am I supposed to do when the phone is dead? Can anyone help?

I'm afraid that if you don't have access anymore to your old phone numbers, there's not a way to be able to login or reset the password of the Nest account as it would require a two-step verification code. The only way to proceed is to reset the account connection settings of your thermostat so that it would let you set it up on another email address. Here's a guide: https://bit.ly/3riP5Dp
