After changing my home internet provider we had to reconnect the nest to the internet and I had my property manager do it since I'm out of state for the year. My property manager assures me that the nest says it's online but when I open my Nest app it says my thermostat is offline and can't communicate. I suspect the schedule is running wild or is in manual mode, because I have received very high utility bills the past few months.
Any advice on what I can do remotely from out of state to reset or otherwise reconnect via my Android app?

You need to be physically with the thermostat to do almost all of the troubleshooting unfortunately:
