Sort your favorites in the new Google home app

is it possible to sort the switches among the favourites?

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community.

Good question. Ideally, yes, you should be able to do that as long as the switches are already added in the Google Home app. If you are already in the Google Home app Public preview, you can check the steps below.

Add and manage favorites

1. Tap on the Favorites tab.
2. Tap + Add favorites if empty or scroll to the bottom and tap Edit if favorites were previously added.
3. Check the boxes next to each device, action, or automation the customer would like to add to Favorites.
4. Tap Save to confirm the edits.

Hi Juni,

this does not work I have activated some switches in the favorites. But there is no possibility to move the switches to another position.
When I go to edit, then I can only add another switch to the favorites.

We're sorry for the confusion. While you can manage your favorites by adding and removing devices, action, or automation on the list, we don't have a way to sort the devices you added. Once you choose them the system will sort it automatically. We're always looking for ways to improve and we'll take it as feedback.
