Scrambled screen nest thermostat

Hello, can anyone help. The screen on my nest thermostat was flickering and going liney a few weeks ago intermittently but now the screen is so scrambled you can see what's going on.

Chromecast on a different t.v

I usually cast on my family room TV. But I have a second t.v as well. When I try to cast on my second t.v, it shows me only the option on the previous t.v, which is the family room t.v. In other words, I cannot switch t.v to cast something.
