Time to dump these off shore clowns

Yeah I have been a customer with nest for over 7 years and its very unfortunate that I have to consider dropping them after another subscription price increase. There are so many other options that are way cheaper and affordable compared to google nest. The price increase is going to make them lose a lot of loyal customers sadly.

Here in the Netherlands the increase is from € 60 to € 100, an increase of 66%. And it would be fine if this would be  something that you don’t buy hardware for. Then you can easily think: “oh maybe I should switch to a different provider,”. But no I have two cameras in my house., the doorbell camera, plus two smoke detectors. Those are all extremely expensive things to invest in and now we are getting punished for buying their devices, with this massive increase in price. And let us be honest, the storage function is not that great to begin with.

Curios what your justification is for the 25% price increase for Nest Aware? There are no new features, and your increase does not support current inflation, global macro factors etc.. is this price gouging for price gouging sake? There is no new value add for this increase. I came back to Google as it was a better value of service for the money. No I need to look for a new service to replace Google.
