I just received a price increase notice for my nest aware.  My plan just renewed on May 20th 2025 does this mean that they are going to charge me again for the whole amount of the new price or just add the difference from the old price to the new price?  I can’t seem to find a way to contact them to find out.  If they are charging me the whole amount of the new price I will be canceling the whole thing.

I think it means you won't have to pay the price increase until May 20, 2026.  The last time they raised their prices, they announced on Sept. 1, 2023, effective on bills on or after Nov. 6, 2023.  Since our subscription renewed in June 2023, we didn't have to pay the increase until June 2024.

Great, thank you for you reply   I hope our are right   Just wish there was a way to confirm it with Nest directly as these days every penny counts.

The email notice does say:

"This new price will go into effect on your first bill that occurs on or after August 15, 2025, or at the end of your promotional period (whichever is later), if you currently enjoy promotion pricing."
