Can't log into my Nest account when trying to add my Nest Hello doorbell to Google Home

I am trying to add my Nest Hello doorbell to my Google Home app so i can view it on other linked google devices, such as my google nest hub. When i search for the product in the Home app, i select doorbell and Nest, it then sends me to a Nest login page, which won't accept my email and password. It offers the error message 'if you have migrated to google, login through google. But there is no option to do so, this is stopping my devices linking. Please help.

@Upplander

You cannot install the Google Nest Hello Doorbell in the Google Home app; it can only be installed in the Google Nest app. And when you install it in the Google Nest app, the doorbell then AUTOMATICALLY appears in the Google Home app, provided that your Nest Account has been migrated to a Google Account (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9297676, you are logging onto both apps with the same Google Account, and you are accessing the same Google Nest "home/structure" in each app. Our 3 Google Nest Hello Doorbells appear in the Google Home app, though most functions are still performed in the Google Nest app.

Google Nest has been halfway in between the two apps for a couple of years now.

I had the same problem until I figured out that I had to add doorbell to the Google Home app first using add device. Also, since the app was recently updated, it's much easier and much faster to access doorbell when someone rings the bell. You may know this already,  but you can also set up the doorbell to ring through Google nest speakers. I can't always hear the doorbell when I'm upstairs, so connecting to nest speakers is really helpful for me.  The nest app is really only useful for controlling the nest thermostat.

If you installed your doorbell in the Google Home app, then you have the newer 2nd Gen Google Nest Doorbell (https://store.google.com/us/product/nest_doorbell), which cannot be installed in the Google Nest app. On the other hand, if you have the older Google Nest Hello Doorbell, which Google Nest no longer sells, then it can only be installed in the Google Nest app.

Kohl's and a few other places still carry the Google Nest Hello Doorbell:

Got it all working now, had to uninstall the Nest app, and reinstall to get it to work. Thanks all.
