Hi there,

Sorry for my late response. Thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I just wanted to make sure that your issue is addressed. I can definitely understand how frustrating your situation must be. I would love to help you find a solution to this issue.

  • Do you still need help with this issue?

  • What troubleshooting steps have you done thus far?

Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Best Regards,

Brad.

I would like to know this as well. I have two "Homes" (same Google Account), and I have Nest Aware subscription on my main Home1. I have a Nest Cam on my main Home1 that displays events thru Nest Aware. If I switch to Home2, go under settings, click on Nest Aware, it wants me to sign up for a trial. I guess my next question would be, can I add my Nest Cam to both homes so that I can see the events no matter which Home I am under? The web site will be better once they release that.

To answer your questions, if you have a camera in Home 1, you cannot add it to Home 2. It is already part of Home 1. You would need to get a new camera, add it to Home 2, and if you wanted, get a second Nest Aware subscription for Home 2's camera. One Nest Aware Subscription per Home/structure. I hope that makes sense.

Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Best Regards,

Brad.

Can’t I just move the camera from one home to another?

Each camera is set up with your local wifi connection and location of where it is placed. You can definitely move it, but you would want to Factory Reset it first, and then move it and set it up there with that connection, and location.

Brad.
