I’m signed into my Google nest through my Google account and unable to invite my spouse to the household.
I get this error message: can’t send invite right now. Try again.
also, I am an Apple Music subscriber, and Google nest will not link to my Apple Music account. I go through the process and when I’m done it’s still says Apple Music is not signed in and the default free month of YouTube music is in priority position.

Yes, the issues still exists.
I granted access according https://support.google.com/a/answer/9620347
And added nest as trusted service

Hey folks,
Are you going through the following steps?
The person you invite will receive an email with instructions.
Note: If the person you want to invite already requested to join your home, you’ll need to accept that request instead of sending a new invitation.

I did all of those things. I think my problem may have been caused by inviting someone with a G Suite email.

Hey all,
I am so sorry to hear that you are still experiencing this issue! Those troubleshooting steps usually do the trick! Well, the main issue here would be that they are most likely using a Gsuite email address. These pretty much do not work well or at all with our Nest products.

I've followed all those steps and still getting message "can’t send invite right now. Try again". I successfully added someone a few weeks ago, and now there is still only two of us but I can't send the invite to anyone else because I get that error message. The people I am trying to invite do have Google accounts/gmail email addresses also.

Same issue for me. I’m Trying to invite my spouse and get the “Can’t send Invite right now - Try again” error. She has a Gsuite email address, not a gmail address.

Is anyone going to fix this ever? It's obvious that it's an issue on Google's side. Pretty dumb that one google product cannot talk to another.

Same - this is actually ridiculous! So Google Nest can’t use a Google email address? … what? Why can’t you just add anyone you want? Makes the Nest near worthless. So weird.
