Hi,
After bough a Nest Cam 2º generation where I can see in the book that this product is compatible and working with "Hey Google" (/ I understand that this means Google Home, Google Assitant; I discover that I can not use the product because I'm using a G.Suite legacy edition for may family members.
Here the point is, I was planning to acquire a lot of Nest products staff to take care of my family at home, cameras, thermostat, ring, nest aware services and so on.
Now I discover and of the confirmation from the "Google Nest Cameras" Support team that "Nest Products" are not compatible with any Google Suite account, neither if you are the manager of this account and the single workaround for this is to set up a new personal gmail account to set-up the camera.
I can understand this, now I use Google Home, Google assistant, chrome cast, some speakers, but I need an external gmail account to setup nest products; this means that I need to reconfigure all my Google gadgets with a non-G. Suite accounts?
What happend if a company that use G.Suite to magae mail, drive and so on, bough Nest Product to secure the office ? a private company need to create a personal gmail account to this ?
A a family user for G.Suite this situation is very dispointend and thinking from a private company point of virew, I didn't see workaround a profesional solution to ensure the security of a private company.
I'm thinking to not consider any Nest products for my home Google Infraestrure.
Very disappointing for this, and more because anyone is given a professional working solution for this, even anyone tell me that there is any additional option paying money for this.
If a Google product is not compatible with google service, why you don't explain this in the product packaging Google?
Regards,
Lluis

Hi there,
I apologize for my late response and thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I'm terribly sorry to hear that you're having this issue, I understand how upsetting this could be, but I'm happy to assist you with this issue. I am sorry that you are not able to use a G Suite account for our products. The reasoning, I am not sure but all I know is that you want a standard gmail account.
Best Regards,
Brad

Hi Brad,
I try to find a workaround with Google Home support and they didn't give me any option to use a G.Suite account even if the account is a super administrator,
I can understand this limitation, I have a family group for G.Suite and now I will think to search for an alternative to Nest products, I'm not agree to setup Nest with a personal google account if I am using G.Suite; I wouldn't like to switch time over time to see my Nest configuration and My G.Suite setup for google home and so on.
I would like to use prodcuts that can be installed in my Google Home setup ( G.Suite account )
Sad after decide to purchase Nest products, Now I decided to not use them for my Google Home setup.

There is no such option to use a G Suite account whatsoever. You have to use a gmail account. None of our cams and doorbells will work with a GSuite account. Terribly sorry for the inconvenience, but this is not a possibility i'm afraid.
Best regards,
Brad

I see this Brad, I can't understand but is as it works.
If I have this trouble, a middle size company that use G.Site account with his own domain and the corporate company would plie to install a security control integrated with Google Home with Nest products ?
The only option for private companies is also setup it with a non-corporate google email ?
This options don't fulfill some important security policies compliances for private companies thath request to use only corporate email accounts.
I hope that this change in the future to reconsider again Nest products.

There is no solution besides you using a Gmail account. There is no way around this whatsoever. Gsuite accounts are not an option. Terribly sorry for the inconvenience.
