Google nest doorbell link to Google hub

I have bought a Google nest doorbell and installed, all is working on the nest app. I am trying to link it to my Google hub but it will not work. I go into the Google home app and add device linked to Google, I then select nest and it asks me to sign in. It will not let me sign into nest but I can sign into Google. But then it just keeps taking me back to the nest sign in page. Please help???

if you have it installed on nest app, its already on the google home app automatically as they are synced.

if its not, then I suspect you have created a new home... so check for this.
