Hi there,

I apologize for my late response, and thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I understand how upsetting this may be, and I'm happy to assist you with this. Here is a great link on how Nest Aware works and how to subscribe. In addition, here is a link on how to manage your subscription.

Best regards,

Brad

Hi Brad,

The second link you provided (linking to page titled "Manage your Nest Aware subscription on the Google Store") says to visit this page (https://store.google.com/subscriptions?hl=en-GB) to upgrade from Nest Aware to Nest Aware Plus.

I am pretty sure I have Nest Aware at the moment, and I am considering upgrading to Plus, but the linked page (https://store.google.com/subscriptions?hl=en-GB) has nothing to will allow me to do this. All the links are just going back and forth between:
https://store.google.com/subscriptions/nest_aware?hl=en-GB

https://store.google.com/subscriptions

https://play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions

But there is no way I can actually upgrade. The websites seem to be designed by people who don't actually use them.

FYI: I am in Australia., if that makes any difference.

Do I need to cancel my current subscription first before I can upgrade?

Hi folks,

pipo, good question, you don’t need to cancel your free trial when you sign up for the Nest Aware Plus plan.

Here’s how:

  1. Go to https://goo.gle/2QcwNC7 > at the top right, tap Account > Subscription.
  2. From the Home nickname dropdown, select the home with the subscription you wish to manage.
  3. Do either of the following:
    1. Click Upgrade to Nest Aware Plus.
    2. Next to the subscription, click the 3 vertical dots > Change your plan.
  4. Select Nest Aware Plus > click Next.
  5. Review the subscription details > Confirm Purchase.

Let us know how it goes.

I appreciate the help, Brad.

Thanks,

JT

Hi JT,

Thanks for the instructions. I believe I am following them correctly, but Account -> Subscription just takes me back to the same page: https://store.google.com/subscriptions?hl=en-GB , which looks like:

-----------------------

Subscriptions

Current subscriptions

Available subscriptions

------------------------

But everything else is blank, other than a a box that says:

Introducing the new Nest Aware. All your devices. One low price.
Subscriptions start at just A$9/month for all Nest cameras, speakers and displays in your home with more history and new intelligent alerts. Learn more
The links go to:
The second link takes me to something that's like what you describe. In the "Home nickname", if I select the home that currently has a Nest Aware plan, it shows two boxes:
Box 1 (no link or vertical dots)
Nest Aware
with 30 days of event video history
Box 2
Billling managed by Google Play
Manage subscription (link to Google play subscription)
From the Google subscriptions page, I can select "Google Home", but the only available options are:
- update payment method
- set up backup payment method
- cancel subscription
(Is there anyway I can attach a screenshot in the comments here?)

@pipo

Those links were for a US user. Go ahead and try this link. I apologize that I cannot assist you directly with this request, but we simply don't have that access here in the forums. Try to contact into support if you can't get the link to work.

Best regards,
