Nest Aware - How to un-merge familiar faces

Nest Aware detects my two sons as the same person. I see there is the option to merge two familiar faces into one when Aware detects them as two different people, but how do you un-merge two faces into separate people when Aware detects them as the same person?

Not to sound stupid by asking this but could this be used for one person to do this to gain the idenity of another person ? Not trying to learn or ask questions is what is stupid to me . Thank you for your time

I am afraid there is no way to edit familiar faces so you can let it keep going, or clear them all out and try again.
