I have multiple Nest cameras purchased in 2021 or prior where I view 24/7 video via the Nest app. I just purchased a new Nest Cam Indoor Wired 2nd generation which requires the Google Home app to set it up. Do I need to purchase another annual subscription or will this just be added to my current $150/yr subscription? I'm assuming this means I need to view my 24/7 video from old Cams in the Nest app and the new 24/7 video in the Google Home app.

I'm assuming you migrated your Nest Account to a Google Account some time ago, since you need to do so to get a Nest Aware Plus subscription. If you are logging into the Google Home app with the same Google Account you're using to log into the Google Nest app (using the "Sign in with Google" option), and if you installed your new 2nd gen camera in the same Google Nest "home/structure" as your 1st gen cameras and your Nest Aware Plus subscription, then your subscription will cover your new 2nd gen camera automatically. (We have two 2nd gen cameras and several 1st gen cameras and doorbells, and they're all covered by the same subscription.) But you'll need to use the Google Home app to access history for your 2nd gen camera:
