Reading over the below article, my understanding is the Nest Aware Plus subscription comes with "Sound Detection" for Google speakers and displays:

I have a Nest Aware Plus subscription and do not have the "Sound Detection" option. I've spent nearly 6 hours on the phone and chatting with Google but just keep getting bounced between departments with no one helping resolve the situation.
