Nest Aware address update

I subscribed to Nest Aware and when trying to add my address it just stalls out. Is there a way to fix this or a work around?

Thanks for posting your question in the Community. I’d be happy to help you with Nest Aware. Let’s check it out.

 

A few questions: what is the make and model of your Android device? Does this happen on both WiFi and mobile data? Where did you purchase your Nest Aware subscription?

 

If you purchased Nest Aware from the Google Store, please try the troubleshooting steps below:

 

  1. Check for any Android system updates and install them if there are any.
  2. Uninstall the Google Home app, then restart the Android device.
  3. Re-install the Google Home app and sign in with the account used to purchase the subscription.
  4. At the top, make sure your home name is listed. If needed, tap the name to change the selected home.
  5. Tap Settings and then Home information and then Home address​.
  6. Tap Edit and then Enter your address and then Next.
  7. Drag the map so the pin is on your home, then tap Done.

On the other hand, if you purchased Nest Aware from one of our partners, contact them for further assistance.
