Nest Aware Subscription Management

So where can one find details on their Nest Aware account? I recently spent some time with customer service on this very topic because Google charged my credit card for the Nest annual service, but the only way I knew was because my credit card company notified me.

I can't find any details from Google as to how the fee applies to my particular situation, for example, price per camera? tax?, etc. They really need to issue an invoice rather than just posting a debit against your card. Customer Service got me to switch from Nest Aware to Nest Aware Gen 2 (or something similar to that) but I can't find any evidence that any of that took place, other than the emails I've received confirming my new subscription. I also couldn't find any details on my old, Gen 1, Nest Aware subscription until customer service sent me links to locations inside of nest.com that aren't advertised anywhere. Subscription details almost feel hidden.

Google needs to get onboard with some Best Practices. They could use Apple as an example. Apple notifies subscribers a week, or more, before a subscription renewal, then again when the renewal happens, and they provide a detailed invoice of what you were charged for. C'mon, Google, is that too much to ask for?

Thanks Brad, the links you provided answered a lot of questions, but raised one important question. It looks like Google is planning to charge me $120, on or around April 4, 2022, presumably for Nest Aware Plus for one year; however, I've already paid Google $130 on March 5, 2022 for a year of Nest Aware version 1, and have received no refunds from Google. If anything, I was expecting a $10 credit around April 4, 2022 and I should then be paid up through April of 2023. Can you tell me what will actually happen in April?

I honestly have no clue what to tell you as we do not process any payments, nor do we work with anything like that in these forums. Your best bet is to contact Support directly and look for assistance with them.
