Nest Not Integrating with Google Home

I set up my nest with my nest account which is my Google account. I had to set up my nest and The nest app. I want to have my nest thermostat connected to my Google home. When I go to add nest to Google home, I have to use my username and password. I do not have a username and password for nest as I logged in with Google. Because I can't log in with credentials, I can't add my nest thermostat to my Google home to control it. How do I establish nest credentials?

When you install a Nest Learning Thermostat or Nest Thermostat E in the Google Nest app, it should automatically appear in the Google Home app, provided that you are logging into both apps with the same Google Account and are accessing the same Google Nest "home/structure".

However, many customers in this forum have reported this sometimes doesn't happen. But many of those customers have tried this workaround successfully:

1. In the Google Nest app, add a new, temporary Google Nest "home/structure".

2. Go to that new, empty Google Nest "home/structure" in the Google Home app and delete it.

This seems to force the 2 apps to sync, and the thermostat then appears in the Google Home app.
