Nest app won’t let me sign in or change password

Nest app prompted me to sign in again & said I have an invalid sign on combo. I tried to rest password but it won’t send me an email. Verified the email on the main account. I was still receiving notifications but couldn’t load app. Deleted & reinstalled app thinking maybe that would help. Nope. Notifications stopped & still can’t get on.

I have this problem also with the nest app. Do you have the Google home app also? Maybe it was migrated.

I also can’t log into the app, even when I click reset password I don’t receive an email. I need this sorted ASAP as I have Nest thermostat in my business and need to control this when I’m away. Please help!!

Have you migrated your account over to Google Home? That could be why you do not have access. Once you migrate over to the Home App from Nest app, you cannot go back.

No I don’t think I have. What’s the options for me to sign back in? It’s still not sending me a password reset email either I have also deleted the app and downloaded it again and it’s still the same

Are you logged into the same Google email account that have all of your devices connected to it? I would verify what email you use, and maybe even check other emails for emails that are about your devices so you can located the correct account.

I have tried resetting with all my email addresses and none are sending me a reset email

I would suggest going to your app store, viewing your subscriptions or whatever, and it will tell you which active ones you have, and at least on my iPhone it will show that it is associated with my Apple ID email. I am not sure what that looks like for Android phones, but check it out and that may give you a clue as to which email your account is associated with. Just a random tip because I have no way to help you with this I am afraid. Support may be able too if you wanted to try and connect with them?
