I just had someone come on to my property to relieve himself. Our Nest Cam did not detect him. It did detect me returning from walking my dog a few minutes earlier and then detected me checking out my property a few minutes later, but didn’t detect the stranger coming or going on the exact same path. This is very worrisome. What is the camera not detecting?

Hey there,
I am terribly sorry to hear that you're having this issue! I would love to assist you with this issue. If you are having issues with your Nest Cam or Nest Doorbell, I would suggest that you first start by restarting it.
Restart: Keeps all your settings, and it should reconnect to the same Wi-Fi network. This is helpful if it ever becomes frozen, has trouble reconnecting to the internet, or isn't working normally.

Sorry. Thought I replied. Not sure where that went but it’s not on this stream. I can restart the camera, but I still find it strange that it just missed identifying there was a person in my yard despite the footage being there.
