Hi Folks, I’ve got Nest Aware subscription and connected the new Nest Cam, added it thru my Google Home App, and it can be accessed via same…..but it only provides 3 hour video retrieval. What step did I miss? Thanks.

If you go to your camera in the Google Home app and go to Settings | Video | Video history, is a Nest Aware option checked?

Nope, doesn’t even show as an option.

Then perhaps your 2nd gen Nest Aware or Nest Aware Plus subscription is on a different Google Account or for a different Google Nest "home/structure" than your camera. You can check your subscription on the link below, and if you click on the subscription, it will display the name of your Google Nest "home/structure".

Or, if you have a 1st gen Nest Aware subscription, those subscriptions are per-camera and apply ONLY to 1st gen Google Nest cameras and doorbells, and NOT to the 2nd gen Google Nest cameras and doorbells that get installed in the Google Home app.
We're on a Nest Aware Plus subscription that we've had since 2020, and it covers all of our 1st gen and 2nd gen Google Nest cameras and doorbells.
