my nest aware was working fine until I had to remove and re add my wife to our home due to it not recognising her on the hub we had recently purchased.

this removal took all our cameras off the home and I had to re add them and now I get no compatible devices

the chat people are useless and after countless conversations feel like I have now thrown a whole load of money at a system that is flakey as hell and can’t get back to a working point without removing every device and recreating my home with all the devices.

 

any help towards this would be appreciated

Thanks for posting here in the community. I understand your frustration with the Nest Aware compatibility inconvenience after re-adding your wife to your Nest Home. Help's here!

 

To better understand the situation, I'd like to ask a few questions:

 

  • How many cameras do you have?
  • What type of Nest cameras do you have?
  • What type of Nest Aware subscription do you have?
  • Is the Nest Aware Subscription under the correct account?
  • Were you able to set up the Nest cameras on your account?
  • Did you get an error message?
  • Are you trying to add them to a new home structure or the old one?
  • Do you have other Nest devices on the same home structure?
