Hello, our family has migrated from the Nest App to the Google Home App, now we're no longer receiving push notifications for activity, even though activity events are identified correctly in the Google Home App. We are however able to still get push notifications from the Nest App, but only for our older devices that are supported via both the Nest App and the Google Home App. The newer camera devices currently sold on the Google store are not supported via the Nest App, even with an active Nest Aware subscription.
We've done the following:
- Re-installed the Google Home App on our devices
- Power cycled our Nest Aware devices and phones
- Enabled app push notifications in Settings > Apps > Home > Notifications > *all settings* (enabled)
- Enabled notifications in Settings > Notifications > App settings / App notifications > Home (enabled)
- Ensure Do Not Disturb is not enabled
My devices with the Google Home App are:
- Pixel 4a 5G
- Pixel 6
My Nest Aware devices are:
- Nest Cam (indoor, wired)
- Nest Cam Indoor
- Nest Cam Outdoor
- Nest Doorbell (battery)

Thank you Brad, yes we are needing assistance. We're unable to receive camera event push notifications from our Google Home App.

Hey there,
If you are having issues with your Nest Cam or Nest Doorbell, I would suggest that you first start by restarting it.
Restart: Keeps all your settings, and it should reconnect to the same Wi-Fi network. This is helpful if it ever becomes frozen, has trouble reconnecting to the internet, or isn't working normally.
Best regards,
Brad

Hi Brad, thank you for your continued assistance. As previously mentioned in our post, we have restarted our Nest devices, in fact multiple times, via the app and manually by unplugging the device from power. Along with these other troubleshooting steps:
- Re-installed the Google Home App on our devices
- Enabled app push notifications in Settings > Apps > Home > Notifications > *all settings* (enabled)
- Enabled notifications in Settings > Notifications > App settings / App notifications > Home (enabled)
- Ensure Do Not Disturb is not enabled
We have not yet experienced a frozen feed or issues with connecting to our network. My only issue at this time is that we're not receiving any push notifications from our Google Home App.

I am sorry to hear you are still having this issue! Have you made sure that your phone settings have notifications turned on? And are notifications turned on in your app settings?
Best regards,
Brad

Hi Brad, thank you for your continued assistance, this does not appear to be an efficient route for support, I will try an alternative solution.
