Despite paying for each month of $18 my subscription according to google has been cancelled. I was told I only signed up for a 30 day trial. I have no recorded history or announcements of people coming and going. I need this issue fixed ASAP

This happened to me also. They took my annual fee a month ago and my account was "expired" on Wednesday.

I think it happens because your Google Home i.e. the configuration was linked to the Trial subscription not to the one you paid. I have the same problem.
The problem has happened many times and both their support and the users are spending a lot of time and frustration on it. Something's irrational in this picture.
