Video playback

My video playback isn’t working on any devices. I phoned google nest yesterday and the lady said I needed to update the software. The only thing I can find  out about this is that updates on cameras are automatic and can’t be done manually. Frustrating!

I thought I left a follow up, but I guess it didn’t post! I resolved my issue by upgrading to the paid version of Nest Aware. I believe the issue is that the video doesn’t work in the trial version. As soon as I upgraded, without changing anything else, it worked fine.

I’m also unable to get video playback to work. I have a trial Nest Aware subscription, all my apps are updated to current, I’ve tried resetting my Nest doorbell (wired) as suggested in another thread. Nothing. Very frustrating!

Which app are you using to view the playback? Nest or Home? What happens when you try to view the playback - just a spinning blue circle?

No need to start a new thread! I am sorry to hear that you are still having this issue as well. Right now, it looks to be a bug that some users are experiencing. Right now, I am afraid I do not have a resolution. However, I would suggest that you restart your cams if you haven't already, check out the internet speeds as well just to rule that out.
