Viewing images through the Nest App

I set up a Nest battery camera using the Google Home App. I already have other 6 cameras connected. When entering into my Nest App the new camera does not appear so I can only see yhe images through the Google Home App. What steps do I need to do in order to include this new camera into the Nest App? Thanks

Unfortunately, Google Nest decided that the Google Nest cameras and doorbells released starting in Sept. 2021 would work ONLY in the Google Home app and NOT in the Google Nest app or on the home.nest.com website.  In the last month or so, they have activated a beta/preview website, home.google.com, where we can see livestream for all of our cameras, old and new.

Hi there,

Thank you for your feedback on this, I fully understand the frustrations of not having your new Nest cams in the Nest app like you may be used too. However, you can now use the Google Home web app to view your cameras and doorbells.

The new Nest cameras and doorbells are exclusive to the Google Home app because we wanted to create an integrated experience with your speakers and displays. A Nest Aware subscription applies to all of your cameras, speakers, and displays in the same home structure. Thank you for your continued patience, and support.

Best regards,

Brad
