App crashes

I am having an issue adding a 2nd protect to the app.  Scan QR code to add the second Nest Protect, then the app crashes to the home screen.  Same thing over and over.   Reset phone, reset protects.  I can add any protect I have as long as it is the first one.   If it is the second one, it crashes.   

IOS version 14.7.1 

Fresh install of the app.  

Any recommendations?

I understand that app issues can be confusing but I definitely wanted to stop by and see how I could help. 

 

Just wanted to double check to see if you were still needing help on this? If so, what troubleshooting steps have you tried?

I have restarted the app, restarted the phone, deleted and reinstalled the app.   I I have deleted the protect and tried adding others first.  ( I have three). I can add any of the three fine as long as it is the first one.  Any time I try to add a second, the app crashes to desktop.

Thanks for letting me know what device you have. I was able to find out that it seems like we are experiencing a bug with this and are aware of it and working on it. 

 

However, there is a workaround that you can use. Only tap the room name once on the room selection screen and wait for the app to load the next screen in the pairing process.
