I purchased google asstants, thermostat, and cameras. I get bounced between google home, nest, and home. I'm switching to Amazon if I can't get help connecting.
Protects do not work in google home. Chat support will send you in loops. I doubt they ever will work. If you're still within return windows, send all your nest stuff back and find another solution. What that solution is idk yet bc I havent had time to look yet.
