Can't connect to my new StarLink

My Nest thermostat is connected to the StsrLink wifi but I can't get the nest protect units to connect.  I can not even get to the point of seeing my StarLink in order to put in the pass word.  The units have been offline longer than I've had StarLink and were working fine a year or two ago.  Reinstalled the app.  Don't know what else to try.

Hello Evierose,

 

I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with this. No worries; we'll check this out. Just a few questions: What is the LED light on the Nest Protect when you try to connect? Did you remove Nest Protect from the Nest app before you tried to connect? And have you tried to factory reset the Nest Protect?

Check out this link on how to Reset the Nest Protect and erase all settings.
