Is it possible to get the entry code for the Nest Protect using the S/N?

I had someone install the device before I set up the app. I can’t climb ladders, and can’t see the back of the device.

The only place where you'll find the QR code and setup code is physically printed on the back of the device, so no unfortunately. Maybe you can ask a friend or family member to retrieve the setup code for you?

@Cat9, how's it going? Have you managed to contact someone to reach your Nest Protect for the setup? At this point, you need to have the Nest Protect with you to add it to the Nest app. However, please write down the Entry Key for each Nest Protect you install and keep it in a safe place. The Entry Key is 6 digits long and located on the back next to the QR code. This can save you some time in the future if you ever remove Protect from the app and need to add it back.
