Can't download Nest app

What do you do if your phone says the Nest app cannot work on your device? What are the phone requirements for the app?

These are the Android requirements for the Google Home app and Google Nest app:

I think if your phone or tablet does not meet those requirements, you have to use a different phone or tablet that does meet those requirements.
