Does Nest have plans to add a ‘Strobe’ component to nest protect? Fire code requires they have one..

I’m looking to replace the stock smoke detectors that came with my home - but fire code regulations in Ontario don’t allow for Nest Protect in new construction because they do not have a strobe light… wondering if they are considering adding this feature anytime soon??
