Failed to add Nest Protect to act. P009(0.80)

I removed Protect from my Nest app and now can't get it reconnected, following all of the troubleshooting recommendations and still nothing.  Any help is appreciated

I have the same error code. Anyone can help? Anyone from Google team?

Apparently you have to create a new home for your product and weave your account together.  Go to googlenest.com/support , options for email, chat and live person, hope this helps 

Thanks for the reply. Can I please clarify. I currently have set up a home with a nest door bell, a google pad and a google mini. So to solve this problem, you mean I have to create a new home and just add those protectors in. And then how to I add the other products i currently have with this new home? When you were saying creat a new home, is it in the google home app or the nest app?

I believe this is only for the nest app, try the support page if it’s a nest product. my problem was a 5 minute fix and they called me back within 10 seconds of hitting send

Thanks for reaching out to us, and I'm sorry to hear about the situation you're in with our Nest Protect. I'd like to take a look at this for you. 

 

Please redo the setup on your Nest app and then follow the steps listed below:

 

  1. Reset the joining device to default.
  2. Restart the modem and router.
  3. Move all devices being used for pairing closer to the router.
  4. Check the network settings.
