False Alarms in the Middle of the Night

Need help resolving these erroneous alarms.  These began by waking my entire family and scaring the crap out of us only to discover it was just a false alarm. No steam,  no dust or humidity issues. This unit has been functioning properly for a little over two years. Expiration isn't until 2028 and the batteries are fine. I ran the checkup through the app and everything checked out there as well. For the remainder of the day, we recieved 3 more alarms. For this type of unit and cost, false alarms shouldn't be an issue. I am losing my faith in this detector and considering going back to the basic $20.00 models. With a home slap full of Nest products, I'm very discouraged and wondering if this is just another example of manufactured residual income.

I understand that issues with false alarms in the middle of the night can be frustrating but I definitely wanted to stop by and see how I could help.
