Hi @Pascal2a,

 

Thanks for reaching out here in the community! I'm happy to help you with your Nest Protect that's not connecting to the network.

 

In order to diagnose the issue, I'd like to ask a few questions:

 

  • What’s the color of the LED status light?
  • How far is the Nest Protect from your Wi-Fi router?
  • Are there any other devices that experience issues with the Wi-Fi?
  • Are there devices or appliances (such as baby monitors, microwaves, cordless phones, etc.) near the device you want to pair?
    • Those devices could interfere with the Wi-Fi or Bluetooth signal.

In the meantime, here are a few things you can check:

 

  • Make sure your phone and Nest Protect are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
  • Ensure your phone's software is up-to-date.
  • Verify that the Nest app and Home app have local network access enabled.
