Hi all,
A few days ago one of my (5) protects started beeping once a minute. After research it looked like the batteries were low (but the app did not warn me yet). So i orderd a bunch of Energizer Ulitmate Lithium AA batteries.
After disconnecting the beeping device, others started beeping as well. I thought, well, they were installed around the same time, so these batteries shall be empty as wel...
Now, after replacing the batteries, something strange is happening. When starting, not every NEST is comming online. And when pushing the button, the lady does not finish her sentences.
Until now (one day later) i am unable to get the NESTS to connect to WIFI.
When using the app (iOS) for reinitiating Wifi, it comes with an Error.
Does anyone recognize these symptoms? Does anyone have the same issue?
I find it very unlikely that all devices run out of batteries at the same time. Maybe there was a bug in the latest updates?
Ik hope someone has some answers.
Merry Christmas everyone!

Hello GCCornelis,
Thanks for reaching out to the Community. I’d be happy to help you with Nest Protect. Let’s check it out.
Have a look at this guide to troubleshoot (see "Get Nest Protect back online" section): Troubleshoot when Nest Protect is disconnected or is offline.
Keep me posted.
All the best,
Lance
