Nest Protect Battery draining every month

Hi team,

one of my battery powered Nest Protects is rapidly draining its batteries. Costing a fortune.

can I see if there’s any news on this issue? I’ve seen other people raise it.

I’m using Energiser Ultimate Lithium AA L91 batteries.

They’re lasting approx 3 weeks.

Devices’s software version is 3.6rc8.

My other Nest Protect (also battery powered) has the exact same model and software version but no issues so far.

It’s a Gen2, and the path light is set to ‘off’.

Purchased through Officeworks in Sydney, in Sept 2021.
