Nest Protect disconnecting

For apparently no reason (nothing has changed) my 2 Nest protects go offline and, despite following all the Google troubleshooting of removing them, restoring to factory settings, rebooting router, etc, they come back for a while, and then go offline again.  And in doing so, they then disrupt other wi-fi connected devices. Any ideas?

I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue with your Nest Protect that keeps disconnecting from your Wi-Fi network. I'd be happy to take a look at this for you.

What type of Nest Protect do you have? Is it powered by wires or batteries? Could you press their buttons once and let us know their responses? Also, were there any recent changes in the environment, such as the location where they were initially installed, nearby appliances or smart devices that could cause interference, or any changes in your router settings?
