Im having problem with one of my nest protect out of 5. It just wont connect to wifi says offline. Been fine for 5/6 years. Nothing has changed since just that Protect having issues connecting past 2 weeks now
Ive tried nearly everything to get it to work but no luck unless I factory reset the protect then it starts working but few days goes offline.
If I press the middle button it says checking networking, 5 mins later say try again later. Tried updating wifi setting via the nest app struggle to complete it, either wont connect sometimes or wont save the setting at the end gives a error on the app.
Ive Reset the router also , still no luck .

Same. 2 (of 3) Nest Protect devices have suddenly gone off-line and the troubleshooting is not resolving the issue. Google has already exchanged 1 device under warranty, which worked fine for 2 days and then returned to off-line status. Nothing in the household or wifi has changed and no other devices are impacted.

How old are your devices? Mines are about 5-6 years old doubt google will do anything about it as i had it for that long?

Hi folks,
Thanks for posting here in the Community forum, and I'm sorry to hear about the situation. I want to check if you are still in need of any help. If so, please follow these steps:
If the Nest Protect can't establish a connection, it says, "Try again later" and displays a yellow LED light:
Let us know how it goes.
Best,
Zoe

Still having issues. All troubleshooting to date has failed to re-establish the connection on the 2 devices. My 3rd Nest Protect is working just fine.
