Nest Protect

Evening All

When I moved into my house each room had a nest protect installed. I downloaded the app and added all the devices so I could

monitor them.

Two days again 8 out of 10 nests went offline. My wifi is fine, and I’ve tried all the steps google suggests, including removing a nest (I used the kitchen nest as a Guinea Pig) but it won’t reconnect to the wifi.
Please note that 2 Nests are still connected and work fine.

Anyone had this problem before? What steps would you recommend?

Should have added they are all wired and have worked fine for over 2 years!

Hi Lennonswain,

Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that the majority of your Nest Protects are offline. Here's a troubleshoot when Nest Protect disconnects or is offline guide for you to follow. Let us know how it goes.

Same issue. Mine have worked for several years. Today 3 of 7 went offline. None of the Nest troubleshooting tips worked.

Hi zignice,

Yikes! I'm sorry to hear that 3 of 7 of your Nest Protects went offline, and I appreciate you performing the troubleshooting steps on your own already. Don't give up on us yet—we'd like to further check on this. Could you fill out this form and let me know once you're done?

Thanks,

Zoe
