I have THREE hardwired Nest Protect Gen2s and ONE battery-powered Nest Protect Gen2. NONE of them will factory reset. ALL of them are complete junk now. NOBODY at Google Nest would help. Now I have to spend $500 on four new units. Just a warning to everyone here - get the extended warranty because the last firmware upgrade was a piece of crap.
