I am running a eero Pro 6e mesh network throughout our home and all is good with it. I have over 35 devices connected to this network and everything is good; EXCEPT:
1. I have Nest thermostats (2), Nest Temperature sensors (2), and nest doorbell wired cameras (2) connected to the network. All is good with these.
2. I have 5 Nest Protects throughout the home that are connected to the network, and when I test each Nest Protect, by holding down the button on the Protect until the unit says, "Checking the network". It always comes back with the flashing green light on the Nest Protects.
3. In the Nest App all of these devices show as green, "All is OK".
4. In the eero app when I look at the devices is shows the devices as "Offline".
Are the Nest Protect devices somehow in hibernation or sleeping mode typically, but when needed, connect back to the network? I have talked to eero and we tried reloading the Protect devices, but I have the same issue.
I read an article online somewhere that stated the Nest Protects do not stay connected to the network at all times.
Thanks for insight into what may be happening.

Hi Carolrobr,
Thanks for reaching out to the Google Nest Community. I’d be happy to help you with your question. Let’s check it out.
The Nest Protect devices don't maintain a constant Wi-Fi connection. See below:
You can check out this handy guide to help you troubleshoot when Nest Protect disconnects or is offline.
Let me know if you have any questions.
All the best,
